Cuba announced on Tuesday (January 6) the names and ranks of the 32 Cuban military and interior ministry personnel killed in Venezuela during the U.S. raid. According to Cuban government television presenter Barbara Deas, the deceased were serving on missions representing Cuba's Revolutionary Armed Forces and Ministry of Interior at the request of Venezuelan counterpart agencies.
The announcement included a detailed list of the fallen personnel, comprising 21 members from the Ministry of Interior and 11 from the Revolutionary Armed Forces, ranging in age from 26 to 67 years old.
Cuba has maintained close ties with Venezuela for decades, providing military, security, and medical personnel to support the Venezuelan government.
