The location of the footage was confirmed as Arad from the tree, buildings and crater which matched Reuters aftermath images of the scene.

The exact time of the video could not be verified, but no earlier version of the video was found posted online before March 22.

On Saturday (March 21), official reports said Iranian missile hit the southern Israeli cities of Dimona and Arad, injuring dozens of people, including children, in separate strikes.

Iran's Revolutionary Guards said in a statement early Sunday that they targeted "military installations" and security centres in southern Israel.
