Sirens sounded across Tel Aviv in the early hours of Thursday (March 5) as Israeli army said they intercepted Iranian missiles launched towards its territory.

Iran launched a wave of missiles at Israel early on Thursday, sending millions of residents into bomb shelters as the U.S.-Israel war with Iran entered its sixth day and just hours after moves to halt the U.S. air assault were blocked in Washington.

A witness video footage also showed the Israeli defence system intercepting the air strikes as it lit up the sky.
