Israeli soldier killed in south Lebanon combat, military says

An Israeli soldier has been killed during ongoing combat operations in southern Lebanon amid persistent clashes with Hezbollah along the border, marking the third Israeli military fatality in the area this month.

The Israeli military said on Thursday one of its soldiers was killed during combat operations in southern Lebanon, amid ongoing clashes with Hezbollah along the border.

This brings to three the number of Israeli soldiers killed there, after the military said two were killed on March 8.
