People gathered on Wednesday (March 4) around a missile that fell in an open space near the Kurdish-controlled city of Qamishli in northeastern Syria.
Eighteen-year-old shepherd Joudi Asaad recalled the moment of explosion, adding how it scared both animals and residents of the neighboring areas.
"I was herding sheep when we saw the missile moving over our heads. Suddenly, we saw it explode in the sky and fall to the ground. The animals were scared and panicked from the loud sound, and we hid behind the barriers. The people of this neighborhood were scared," he said.
