PRC: Mapua, Cebu Technological University grads top March 2026 civil engineers exams

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) said two examinees tied for the top spot in the March 2026 Civil Engineers Licensure Examination.

Rico Quiñones Elao of Cebu Technological University-Main and Marc Zendrijk Valdez Pasumbal of Mapua University - Manila both achieved a rating of 94.10% to lead 6,438 exam passers.

All in all, 18,370 took the exam given by the Board of Civil Engineering in 19 testing centers all over the Philippines last March 2026.

According to PRC, the eam results of one examinee was withheld pending final determination of the person's liabilities under the rules and regulations governing licensure exams.

Meanwhile, the second placer in the March 2026 exam is Benedick Fabruada Molano of Pamantasan Ng Lungsod Ng Maynila who garnered a rating of 92.65%.

Aina Samonte Dela Cruz of Central Mindanao University placed third with a rating of 92.30%.
