PRC: Six examinees tie for top spot in March 2026 elementary teachers licensure exam
The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced that 18,376 aspiring elementary teachers successfully passed the March 2026 Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers (LEPT), posting a 56.03% passing rate nationwide. Six examinees from top universities across the Philippines tied for first place with an impressive 95.00% rating.

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) and the Board for Professional Teachers (BPT) said six examinees tied for the top spot in the March 2026 Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers (L. E. P. T.).
The PRC said the exam was given last March 15, 2026 in 41 testing centers all over the Philippines.
The six examinees who tied for first place with rating of 95.00% are;
Ann Kristine Dela Peña Danlag of University of Southeastern Philippines-Tagum
Jhade Vine Icot of Cebu Technological University-Danao
Lynn Heart Masamayor Luad of Cebu Technological University-Main
Marc Andre Cuizon Saberon of Cebu Technological University-Danao
Princess Willah Malingin Yamahon of Bukidnon State University
Monette Lucernas Yap of Mindanao State University-Gen. Santos City
All in all, 18,376 elementary teachers out of 32,796 examinees (56.03%) successfully passed the exam.
Out of the 18,376 passers, 15,670 are first timers and 2,706 are repeaters.
Meanwhile, the results of the examination of 58 examinees were withheld pending final determination of their liabilities under the rules and regulations governing licensure examinations.
The results of two examinees were withheld for further verification of submitted documents.
