PRC: Southern Luzon grad tops April 2026 registered master electricians licensure exam
The Professional Regulation Commission announced that 493 out of 882 examinees passed the Registered Master Electricians Licensure Examination, with results released in just three working days. The top five examinees were also named, highlighting outstanding performances from institutions across the country.

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) said 493 out of 882 examinees passed the April 2026 Registered Master Electricians Licensure Examination.
The PRC said the Board of Electrical Engineering conducted the exams in the National Capital Region, Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga this month. The results were released three working days after the last day of examinations.
Those who placed in the top 3 include:
Adrian Buenaobra Baconawa, Southern Luzon State University-Lucban; rating: 89.00%, and
Levi Caratao, Dualtech Training Center Foundation Inc.-Canlubang; rating: 88.00%
Meanwhile, five examinees tied for third place:
Ronald Apostol Amador, Nueva Ecija University of Science and Technology-Cabanatuan; rating: 86.50%
Regeimar Villa Buendia, Polytechnic University of the Philippines-Sto. Tomas; rating: 86.50%
Rex Alonzo Jose, Secondary School, rating: 86.50%
Cesario Montiano Marte, Technological University of the Philippines-Manila; rating: 86.50%
Inrico Barrientos Santiago, Bulacan State University-Malolos; rating: 86.50%
