PRC: UP Diliman grad tops May 2026 licensure exam for certified public accountants

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) said a graduate of the University of the Philippines (UP) in Diliman, Quezon City topped the May 2026  Certified Public Accountants Licensure Examination.

James Al Alcayde Serondo of University of the Philippines-Diliman, placed first with a rating of 91.17%.

Mico Andre Reyes Villenas of Southern Luzon State University-Lucban placed second with a rating of 91.00%.

Then Jonathan Eurich Lo Go of De La Salle University-Manila placed third with a rating of 90.83%.

All in all, 3,004 out of 9,745 examinees passed the exam given by the Board of Accountancy in the National Capital Region., Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga.

Meanwhile, the examination results of eight examinees were withheld pending final determination of their liabilities under the rules and regulations governing licensure examinations, the PRC said.
