Britain's Royal Mail on Wednesday (January 21) unveiled a new collection of stamps in honour of the record-breaking Concorde aircraft, marking the 50th anniversary of its maiden flight.
The twelve stamps commemorate the aircraft's history from its first commercial flight to its final British Airways livery.
The collection features photos of the Concorde in flight as well as original artwork showcasing the supersonic passenger jet.
In a press release accompanying the stamps, Royal Mail's Director of External Affairs & Policy, David Gold, said the company is proud to celebrate Concorde's legacy with the new stamp collection.
"These designs pay tribute to the innovation, elegance, and engineering excellence that made Concorde a symbol of British ingenuity and ambition", he added.
The stamps are available from January 21 and feature the silhouette of Britain's King Charles.
