Tencent, Tesla team up on WeChat-linked in-car features in China
Tencent Cloud partners with Tesla to bring WeChat location sharing and smart service suggestions directly into Model 3 and Y vehicles in China via over-the-air updates. Future Tesla models in China will include these features by default.

Tencent Cloud said on Wednesday it has partnered with U.S. automaker Tesla TSLA.O to offer in-car features such as instant transfer of WeChat location data and smart services suggestions based on destination.
The upgrade will be delivered via an over-the-air update to Model 3 and Y vehicles in China and will be available by default on future vehicles, Tencent Cloud said.
