U.S. President Donald Trump will sign an executive order on Thursday seeking to expand access to retirement plans for workers whose employers do not provide one, the Semafor media outlet reported, citing two White House officials.
The administration will integrate its push with the so-called Saver’s Match, a 2022 legislation that directs the federal government to match retirement-plan contributions from workers making less than $35,000 with up to $1,000 starting next year, the report said.
