Anne Curtis, Regine Velasquez own the stage with classic ‘Halik’ performance

Filipino actress Anne Curtis and Asia’s Songbird Regine Velasquez are trending after their stunning duet on a popular Sunday variety show.

Anne Curtis and Regine Velasquez performed on stage the Aegis’ classic hit Halik, with Regine captivating fans with her signature timeless voice, powerful vocals while Anne impressed audiences with the progress she has made in her singing skills.

Anne and Regine’s duet marks another collaboration for the two stars, who previously shared the stage during Anne’s AnneKapal: The Forbidden Concert.

Radiant in matching red dresses, they delighted fans with their glamour and seamless stage harmony.

Anne, though widely recognized as an actress and TV host, has always dreamed of performing on stage.

She launched her music career in 2011 with her debut album Annebisyosa, which earned platinum status.

She followed this with her first solo concert, Annebisyosa: No Other Concert World Tour, at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in January 2012.

The sold-out show highlighted her growth as both a singer and entertainer.

Two years later, she returned to the same venue with The Forbidden Concert: AnneKapal, a follow-up performance featuring elaborate production numbers and aerial stunts, cementing her reputation as a dedicated and versatile performer with a strong stage presence.

Anne also turned heads on social media with a glamorous photo in a romantic red Dilara dress.

“What a way to kick off my birth month. Performing alongside Asia’s Songbird @reginevalcasid and feeling so much love from all of you for the Love Tour. My new year starts this month,” she wrote in her caption, revealing that she had owned the dress since November and that it finally fit perfectly.

Fans and fellow celebrities, including Nadine Lustre, commented on the post with praise, making it a stunning start to her February birthday celebrations. Anne will celebrate her birthday on February 17, adding extra sparkle to her social media updates.

Excitement continues for Anne as her reunion movie with Jericho Rosales will come to theaters in just eight days.

BUSY MONTH OF CONCERTS

Meanwhile, the 55-year-old singer has a busy month ahead. Regine and her husband Ogie Alcasid will be special guests at Josh Groban’s comeback tour concert at the SM Mall of Asia Arena this February 18.

Regine also announced Ogie’s solo concert in Australia this coming July.

Regine Velasquez began her career as an actress before eventually focusing on and prioritizing her work as a TV host and singer. She was well known for her roles in romantic films such as Pangarap Ko ang Ibigin Ka, Paano Kita Iibigin, and Of All the Things, according to Regine’s profile on the Internet Movie Database (IMDB).
