BABYMONSTER makes first ever Manila stop on ‘CHOOM’ World Tour

Korean girl group BABYMONSTER will perform for the very first time in the Philippines this September as they bring their “Choom” performance to Filipino MONSTIEZ through the “BABYMONSTER WORLD TOUR [춤 (CHOOM)].”

On Monday, May 11, the group announced through official social media accounts their upcoming concerts across Asia and Oceania, confirming stops in multiple countries as part of their world tour.

The Manila stop will be on September 5, 2026 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena. Ticket prices will range from ₱3,500 for Box Regular up to ₱16,050 for SVIP packages.

Fans with a Weverse Membership can register for the presale on Weverse, with the presale scheduled for June 1, while general ticket sales will open on June 4 through SM Tickets.

The tour will begin with a three-day run in Seoul, Korea from June 26 to 28, followed by performances in six Japanese cities — Kobe, Fukuoka, Yokohama, Chiba, Nagoya, and Osaka. Manila will be the group’s eighth stop.

The tour will continue across Asia with stops in Macao, Jakarta, Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, Taipei, Singapore, and Hong Kong. More dates are also expected across Europe, Oceania, North America, and South America as the group continues to expand the tour globally.

The tour takes its name from their third and latest EP, “CHOOM,” released last May 4. The word “choom” comes from a Korean word which means “dance.” The EP includes the title track “CHOOM,” along with “Moon,” “I Like It,” and “Locked In.”

BABYMONSTER’s latest album also made a strong global impact, topping the iTunes Album Charts in 19 regions and reaching No. 1 on the Worldwide Album Chart.

At the moment, six members — Ruka, Pharita, Asa, Ahyeon, Rora, and Chiquita — are active in group activities, while one member, Rami, is on hiatus due to health reasons. It has not yet been confirmed whether she will join the upcoming world tour.

The group officially debuted in April 2024 under YG Entertainment, the same agency behind BLACKPINK. BABYMONSTER is a seven-member group made up of artists from South Korea, Thailand, and Japan. Since their debut, they have released hits like “Sheesh,” “Drip,” and “Like That.”
