Celebrity couple Julie Anne San Jose, Rayver Cruz 'pause for a moment' in Abu Dhabi

Julie Anne San Jose and Rayver Cruz visited Abu Dhabi last Sunday, January 24. The couple’s latest travel posts gave fans a glimpse of their overseas trip. 

Julie Anne first shared a photo of herself and photo with her longtime boyfriend, Rayver, along with snaps from their travels. 

She wrote in her caption, “pause for a moment,” reflecting the calm atmosphere of their trip as they took a break from their busy schedules to enjoy the sights and experiences abroad.

They were joined on the trip by Julie Anne’s sister and Rayver’s brother, Rodjun Cruz, who is also an actor and active in showbiz.

One of the highlights of their visit was riding the intense attractions at Ferrari World Abu Dhabi on Yas Island. The couple appeared to thoroughly enjoy the experience, as seen in photos and videos of them shouting and smiling while on the rides.

Julie Anne, 31 and Rayver, 36 also joined the viral trend using Ice Spice’s Big Guy song from The SpongeBob Movie: Search for SquarePants. In one of her video posts, Julie Anne referred to Rayver as her “big guy,” captioning it, “look at that big guy.”

Aside from thrill rides, the couple also visited the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque. 

Both Julie Anne and Rayver shared solo photos wearing traditional, modest attire that perfectly followed the mosque’s dress code. Julie Anne wore a black hijab that covered her hair, paired with a long, loose garment that fully covered her arms and legs. Rayver, meanwhile, wore a white guthra that covered his hair and a black bisht with gold trim.

Julie Anne is not only an actress but also a celebrated singer and performer. Based on her profile on the Internet Movie Database (IMDB), Julie Anne was first seen on television after competing in the reality singing competition Popstar Kids in 2005. 

She later made her acting debut in the series Gaano Kadalas Ang Minsan in 2008. Since then, she has continued to build her acting career, with notable roles in Maria Clara at Ibarra, where she portrayed Maria Clara, and Heartful Café, a romance series alongside co-star David Licauco. 

Her most recent series, SLAY, is available for streaming on VIU and GMA Network’s YouTube channel. Julie Anne is widely recognized as Asia’s Limitless Star, a title that reflects her versatility and excellence as a singer, songwriter, instrumentalist, performer, actress, and host.

On the other hand, Rayver, like Julie Anne, is known for his work in acting, hosting, and dancing. 

His profile on IMDB says he  has been active in the entertainment industry since he was young. 

One of his earliest television projects was Kiss Muna in 2000. He is known for his roles in films such as On the Job and the romance film The Cheating Game, where he starred with Julie Anne. Rayver has played lead and major supporting roles across various film genres.

Currently, Rayver is part of the second season of GMA Network’s dance reality competition Stars On The Floor, marking his debut as a judge.
