K-pop sensation BTS is set to return with a new album on March 20, followed by a world tour, the boy band’s agency announced on Thursday (January 1).
The upcoming album will mark the group’s first release in over three years since their 2022 anthology album Proof, according to Big Hit Music, a unit of HYBE.
The comeback date was first revealed in handwritten New Year letters to fans, where the members expressed gratitude for their support during the hiatus and hinted at a March 20 release.
In the letters, RM wrote, "I've been waiting more desperately than anyone," while Jin added, "Thank you so much for waiting."
BTS’ group activities had been on hold as the members completed South Korea’s mandatory military service, each serving in turn.
