Kris Aquino, known as the “Queen of All Media” for her long-running career as a TV host, actress, and influential public figure, recently posted a heartfelt video on her Instagram account giving followers an intimate look at her life, health journey and future plans.

In her Instagram post, Kris was seen opening gifts from a friend with genuine warmth and gratitude, a moment that highlighted her connection with people who have stood by her during trying times.

She appeared more lively and interactive than in recent months, a visible sign that her health is gradually improving. Kris addressed boldly discussing her long and difficult health journey.

She shared that she is close to being discharged from the hospital after a month and a half of care, and that her health remains her foremost priority.

Kris also took a moment to thank all the doctors and nurses who took care of her during and after her minor operation.

In the video, she described how she will incorporate light physical activities into her routine, including swimming, and actively looking for indoor pool facilities to help her regain strength as part of her rehabilitation.

This represented a hopeful shift from her most fragile moments to now slowly back to normal and daily life. One touching moment in the video showed her holding up her late mother’s engagement ring, a family inheritance from former President Corazon “Cory” Aquino  and which she plans to pass down to her youngest son, James “Bimby” Carlos Aquino Yap, Jr, a former child actor.

Despite the health battles that have temporarily paused her career, Kris also hinted plans for a comeback.

She shared that she has been thinking about launching a weekly video podcast, a setup where she would sit down with “interesting” guests to talk and connect, much like her past talk show work.

Alongside interviews, she hinted that the podcast might include segments on products she genuinely uses and home cooking recipes — blending entertainment and lifestyle content.

The actress also quipped about receiving from her fans any birthday present, this coming Valentine’s Day, except flowers because she can be allergic to them.

She also said that if she will receive a gift she wanted it to be a rainbow balloon because this represents her journey and 2026 will be a ‘rainbow’ year for her.Kris ended her video by saying thank you to her supporters who are always praying for her and her recovery, and sweet moments with her children, Bimby and Joshua, appreciating their presence and being on her side.
