Qiddiya City on Monday (December 29) marked the soft opening of Six Flags Qiddiya City with an official ceremony attended by senior Saudi officials, as the kingdom continues to expand its entertainment and tourism sector under its Vision 2030 economic diversification plan.
Six Flags Qiddiya City is the first major attraction to open within the Qiddiya development, located southwest of Riyadh. The park includes multiple high-thrill rides and technology-driven attractions, some of which developers say are record-breaking in scale.
Brian Machamer, president of Six Flags Qiddiya City, said Six Flags Qiddiya is uniquely themed and connected to Saudi culture.
The park will be open for visitors from December 31st.
