UK woman charged over 2023 deaths of two girls in primary school car crash
A British woman has been charged with causing death by dangerous driving over a 2023 crash outside a south London primary school that killed two eight-year-old girls. She is also facing multiple charges of causing serious injury related to the same incident.

A British woman has been charged with causing death by dangerous driving after two eight-year-old girls were killed outside a south London school in 2023, police and prosecutors said on Friday.
Claire Freemantle will appear at Westminster Magistrates' Court on June 16, charged over the deaths of Nuria Sajjad and Selena Lau, who were killed in the incident.
The 49-year-old has also been charged with seven offences of causing serious injury by dangerous driving relating to the incident outside the Study Prep School in Wimbledon, less than a mile from the site of the tennis tournament.
London's Metropolitan Police said students and their families were celebrating the end of term in the school grounds when the collision happened.
