Qatar rings in 2026 with spectacular fireworks, drone show, and live performances at Lusail Boulevard.

Thousands gathered in Qatar's Lusail Boulevard to see in the new year on Thursday (January 1) with a dazzling fireworks display.


Performers and a DJ entertained the crowds ahead of the celebration and as the countdown began, the Lusail Plaza Towers were lit up and projected the year 2026. 


A drone display was also shown above the towers with an image of a horse.
